Bush Students Hard at Work Reading

Bush Elementary School second graders in Amy Langworthy’s class are jumping right into improving their reading skills with their English Language Arts Workstations. During ELA workstations, students practice various reading skills such as phonics, fluency and sight word practice. One workstation is the “Big Book” Station where students re-read a big book that was shared in class to practice reading skills and develop fluency. The “Library” Workstation allows students to collaboratively read and share a book to support each other in their reading skills, while also simultaneously developing their love for reading.
