Rogers 2nd Graders Develop Literacy Skills

Rogers Elementary School second graders worked together to read a book during their “Free Read” workstation in Tim Anderson’s class. The students had just completed their work at a Spelling Work Station. Students participate in literacy workstations everyday for 50 minutes. In the stations,

• Poem Station

• Big Book Station

• Word Work Station

• Vocabulary Station

• Spelling Station

• Guided Reading Station

students work as pairs, independently and with Mr. Anderson to develop and hone important literacy skills.
