JPS District Art Show’s Opening Night Tuesday, May 21st – Over 270 Pieces Exhibited!

Jamestown Public School’s Art Department will hold its Annual District Art Show Opening Night on Tuesday, May 21st from 6 to7 p.m. at Jefferson Middle School by the Jefferson Auditorium. Approximately 270 pieces of artwork, representing Kindergarten through 12th grades, in a variety of mediums will be exhibited including painting, photography, drawing, sculpture, jewelry.

 

“Every school in the district is represented and we are pleased to have a record number of student-artists participating,” said JPS Art Chair David Mazzone. “The students really enjoy showing their families their artwork. We are so proud to showcase the amazing talent of JPS art students.

The JPS District Arts Show will run from May 16th to May 30th. The public is welcome to attend the free Opening Night event or if someone would like to view the Art Show during the school day, please stop at the Jefferson Middle School main office to receive a Visitor’s Pass.
