Washington Students Help Out The Salvation Army’s Red Kettle Drive

Washington Middle School students recently spread holiday cheer by ringing the bell for the Salvation Army at Walmart. Teacher, Joe Miraglia, has taken students to participate in the Red Kettle Drive for the past eight years.

“I believe it is good for the students to give back to the community and the students believe it as well,” said Mr. Miraglia. “Every year I have at least 10 to 15 students who want to take part in the bell ringing and they are dedicated to helping out the Salvation Army, even in the worst weather conditions, and celebrating the holiday season by giving back.”
