JPS Supports CASAC’s “Parents Who Host Lose the Most” Campaign

Chautauqua Alcoholism & Substance Abuse Council (CASAC) and the Chautauqua County Underage Drinking Task Force are putting forth an awareness campaign called, “Parents Who Host Lose the Most: don’t be a party to underage drinking” for  the upcoming prom and graduation season.

The Parents Who Host effort is a nationally recognized campaign with objectives to:

·         educate parents about the health and safety risks of serving alcohol at teen house parties; and

·         to increase awareness of and compliance with New York State underage drinking laws.

Parents will see billboards and hear radio messages that simply state that it is NOT OK to allow or provide alcohol at teen proms, graduations or summer parties. For more information, please see www.drugfreeactionalliance.org/parents-who-host.
