JHS Football Staff Helping Future Red Raiders

The JHS Red Raider Football Coaching staff recently held a “Jamestown Future Red Raiders Camp” for youth ages six to 13. The weeklong camp worked, by age group, on football fundamental skills to help prepare students for their  upcoming season in the Jamestown Area Midget Football League and the Lake Shore Football League.

“The camp has three goals,” said JHS Red Raider Head Football Coach Tom Langworthy. “Have fun, improve on the fundamentals of football, and learn more about the JHS Football Program. However, the camp is open to all youth ages 6 to 13, not just football players, to help build athletic skills.”

Current JHS Red Raider Football players also helped the younger players by leading the drills under the supervision of the JHS Football Coaching Staff which included: Richie Joly, David Munella, Ryan Calkins, Steve Propheter, Paul Baker, Mike Baker, Scott Shawley, Greg Hull, Nate Curtis and Tommy Tantillo.
