JHS “Presents for Pets” Donates to the Chautauqua County Humane Society

Jamestown High School recently concluded a successful “Presents for Pets” collection drive in support of the Chautauqua County Humane Society. Students were encouraged to donate items from the Humane Society’s “Needs List,” which is posted at www.spcapets.com. In addition, $100 in cash was also donated to the shelter.

LeAnn Love, JHS staff coordinator for “Presents for Pets,” was very happy with this year’s response.

“Many of the items on the needs list are found in every student’s home and do not require any out-of-pocket spending. This allows everyone to participate and experience the great feeling of giving back to the community,” said Mrs. Love. “We thank everyone who contributed to this year’s drive.”
