JPS Holds Summer LitCamp – Watch Video!

JPS recently held its Summer LitCamp, a breakthrough summer literacy program that combines innovative, research-based reading and writing lessons with an engaging and interactive summer camp approach. Thanks to the JPS PROMISE Fund who purchased the LitCamp Curriculum and Community Schools state funding, along with the help of community partners Chautauqua Striders, YWCA, YMCA and Jamestown Community Learning Council, the program was a huge success!

The LitCamp program included:
• Easy to implement, standards-aligned literacy lessons
• High-quality fiction and nonfiction literature
• Engaging group activities
• Dedicated time for independent reading
