The Jamestown City School District’s Facilities and Operations department is responsible for all aspects of building and grounds maintenance for each of the District’s 11 instructional facilities, bus garage, warehouse and numerous athletic fields.
Our Facilities and Operations department oversees:
- All custodial services
- Ground maintenance including playgrounds and athletic fields
- Mechanical and electrical maintenance
- Routine repairs
- Heating and air conditioning systems
The staff is responsible for the operation of a computerized work order management system, scheduling maintenance throughout the District, purchase of supplies and materials and is involved in the District’s health & safety program. The Director is also involved with capital construction projects.
Jamestown City School District operates a fleet of 43 buses. Transportation includes morning, noon and afternoon trips to various instructional facilities, field trips and athletic events.
