The Records Center provides a centralized facility for storage, retrieval and (where applicable) destruction of records as directed by the Records Retention and Disposition Schedule ED-1 (Section 185.12, 8NYCRR (Appendix I) of inactive student, financial, administrative and personnel records.
Archives Mission Statement: The Jamestown Public Schools Archives identifies, collects, preserves and makes accessible documents, publications, artifacts, recordings and other materials related to the ongoing history of Jamestown Public Schools. These items are made available to students, faculty, alumni and the general public in support of historical inquiry. The archives consists of historical records of the district including yearbooks, chronological scrapbooks, photos, graduation banners and more. To donate historical documents or items, please contact the Records Center Office.
