JHS Announces March 2012 Students of the Month
JHS is proud to announce its March 2012 Students of the Month. Congratulations to these talented students:
Senior – Ellia Brunacini
Ellia Brunacini, daughter of Gerard Brunacini, is a senior at Jamestown High School. She is a member of the Girls’ Tennis Team, Sub Cute Club and the A Cappella Choir. She also participates in the JHS musical. After graduation, she plans to study at Jamestown Community College.
Junior – Ryan Salemme
Ryan Salemme, a junior at Jamestown High School, is the son of Sam and Tracy Salemme. Ryan is Junior Class President and plays the Euphonium in Concert Band, and has recently attended NYSSMA Conference All-State. He is a member of National Honor Society, as well as JHS Varsity Boy’s Tennis. In his spare time, Ryan loves to travel abroad experiencing different cultures. After graduation, Ryan plans to study pre-med at a four-year university.
Sophomore – Victoria Carlson
Victoria Carlson, a sophomore at Jamestown High School, is the daughter of Nicole Bellardo and Adam Carlson. Victoria is enrolled in AT (Academically Talented) classes, and is a member of the JV Girl’s Soccer and Varsity Girl’s Softball teams. She volunteers her time coaching the Southside Midget Football Cheerleaders for 4 years. After graduating, she plans on attending West Virginia University to study medicine.
Freshman – Katie Andalora
Katie Andalora, a freshman at Jamestown High School, is the daughter of Paul and Lisa Andalora. Katie is a member of Key Club, and Student Council. She is also a member of the Girl’s Junior Varsity Soccer and Junior Varsity Basketball teams. In her spare time Katie plays travel soccer for S.C. United, is a referee for JAYS summer soccer, loves to draw, is active in her church, and enjoys hanging out with her friends. Katie has been a Post-Journal carrier for 5 years. She is unsure of her plans after graduating from Jamestown High School.
