JHS Announces Feb 2013 Students of the Month

JHS is proud to announce the February 2013 Students of the Month. Congratulations to these talented students!

9th Grade: Abigail Todaro

Parent or guardian: Jim and Pattie Todaro

Abigail Todaro, a freshman at Jamestown High School, is the daughter of Jim and Pattie Todaro. Abigail is Freshman Class Co-President and was the Co-Captain on the JHS JV Volleyball team and was awarded the Spirit Award. She is also a member of the JHS Golf team, Key Club and JAVA travel volleyball team. After graduation, she is planning to study pre-law at Columbia University.

10th Grade:  Zac Ricker

Parent or guardian: Michelle and Bob Ricker

Zac Ricker, a sophomore at Jamestown High School, is the son of Michelle and Bob Ricker. He is a percussionist in the concert and marching bands and plays piano in the JHS musicals. He accompanies the mixed chorus and is also a member of Key Club. He is in his 11th year of studying piano, currently with Ron McEntire and formerly with Gail Grundstrom. He plays ukulele and piano in ensembles at Infinity Performing Arts and frequently performs a various community functions. Zac hopes to continue his study of music through college and is considering an education in computer science as well.

11th Grade: Shelby Adams

Parent or guardian: Gary & Shelley Adams

Shelby Adams, a junior at Jamestown High School, is the daughter of Gary and Shelley Adams and participates as the Sergeant at Arms in Student Council. She is also a member of the Girl’s Varsity Soccer, Key Club, Spanish Club, Student Organization, and Interact Club. Shelby’s plans after high school are to attend University at Buffalo to study Pre-Dental and specialize as in orthodontics.

12th Grade: Brielle Edborg

Parent or guardian: Tim and Lianne Edborg

Brielle Edborg, a senior at Jamestown High School, is the daughter of Tim and Lianne Edborg. She is a singer/songwriter/performer and has been signed to AGP Records for about two and a half years ( She also plays the violin and the acoustic guitar. Brielle has played the violin for twelve years and is in concert orchestra at the high school. Besides concert orchestra, she participates in the Yoga Club. She also high jumps (5’1″ PR) and is a captain on the JHS Indoor and Outdoor Track and Field teams. In her spare time, Brielle designs and makes her own clothing, and she plans to attend the Fashion Institute of Technology for fashion design in New York City in the fall.
