JHS October 2015 Students of the Month
Congratulations to Jamestown High School’s October Students of the Month!
Aaron Watson, a senior at Jamestown High School, is the son of Alfred Watson and Kellie Morrill, also stepson of Veronica Velasquez. Aaron is a member of the Varsity Football and Varsity Basketball teams. Additionally, Aaron is a member of National Honor Society. He finds time to volunteer in his community. After completing high school, he plans on attending college to study Physical Therapy.
Matthew Leon, a junior at Jamestown High School, is the son of Robert and Sandra Leon. Matthew plays the euphonium in the concert band, where he has attained the honor of being chosen for the 2015 Conference All-State. Matthew is also a member of the two-time, state champion marching band, boy’s varsity tennis team, and Quiz Bowl. When he is not doing homework, Matthew volunteers at his church. After graduation, he hopes to study physics at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
Jonathan Sandstrom, a sophomore at Jamestown High School, is the son of Andy and Tina Sandstrom. Jon is a Co-President of the Sophomore Class. He is a percussionist in the concert and marching bands, a member of ski club, and plays baseball for JHS. Jon enjoys being outdoors, and plans to pursue a career in the Science field.
Elle Noon, a freshman at Jamestown High School, is the daughter of Greg and Ashley Noon. Elle is vice-president of the Freshman class and plays French horn in Concert Band. She is also a member of Key Club, the JHS JV Girl’s Volleyball team and the JAVA travel volleyball club. Elle plans on attending a four year college, but is undecided on her career path.
