JHS November 2013 Students of the Month

JHS is proud to announces its November Students of the Month. Congratulations to these talented students!

Senior – Zachery Barnes

Zachery Barnes, son of James and Christine Barnes, is a senior at Jamestown High School. He is the captain of Jamestown’s Varsity Cross Country team. This year he received the Sportsmanship and 2nd team awards along with the Skelton Leadership award. He is involved with Interact club as the treasurer and volunteers for various events. Zachery is currently employed at McDonalds. After graduation, he plans to attend JCC and then transfer to Daemen College to complete the Physical Therapy program.

Junior – Zack Panebianco

Zack Panebianco,  a junior at Jamestown High School, is the son of Mark and Jen Panebianco.  Zack is the Junior Class Treasurer and is also a member of the Boy’s Varsity Football and Varsity Basketball teams. In his spare time, Zack volunteers at church during Sunday School at Zion Covenant.  After graduation, he hopes to play football or basketball at the collegiate level and study sports medicine.

Sophomore – Cameron Hurst

Cameron Hurst, a sophomore at Jamestown High School, is the son of John and Joy Hurst. Serving as treasurer for the sophomore class for the past two years, Cameron has been involved with his class council and Student Government. Cameron is a member of Key Club, Raider Readers and Needlework Club. He is also a member of the JHS A Cappella Choir as well as the Madrigal Singers. Cameron has also participated in the JHS Musical, portraying Lumiere in last year’s performance of Beauty and the Beast. In his spare time, has announced Cal Ripken League Baseball games as well as for the JHS JV Boys’ Basketball team. He also serves as an intern in the Post-Journal Sports Department and runs his own JHS sports blog, The Rowdy Raider (www.therowdyraider.wordpress.com). After graduation, Cameron plans to attend Syracuse University to study sports communications.

Freshman – Jenna Silzle

Jenna Silzle,  a freshman at Jamestown High School, is the daughter of Paul and Karen Silzle.  Jenna is the co-treasurer for her freshman class.  She runs on the varsity cross-country, indoor track, and outdoor track teams.  In her spare time Jenna likes to hang out with friends and do community services with the Jamestown Key Club.  After graduation Jenna plans on attending college.
