“JHS has the largest amount of AP classes available in the area, and also, has a very diverse population of students. The relationships I have built with students and teachers are a key part in my success. My favorite class was calculus with Mr. Lumia. Although the class was challenging, Mr. Lumia made it fun and kept us interested. He cares about his student’s success in and out of the classroom. With the AP courses I have taken at JHS, I am able to enter college with an idea of what classes will be like. Because JHS is so diverse, I feel more prepared for what I will be seeing when I am away at college.”
