Superintendent Search Stakeholder Groups – List of Committee Members

Due to the anticipated vacancy in the Jamestown Public Schools’ Office of the Superintendent, the Jamestown Board of Education has spent a great deal of time reviewing hiring options available to the district. Based on their review, the JPS Board has sought out the assistance of Dr. David O’Rourke, District Superintendent Erie 2 BOCES, to serve as the Search Consultant to the Board as they seek to hire an outstanding candidate as their next Superintendent of Schools. Dr. O’Rourke reports that the search process is currently on schedule as outlined below.

The Board of Education is committed to seeking input from various stakeholder groups as they move forward with this most important process. The District will be appointing Faculty, Support Staff, Administrative and Student and Community Interview Teams within the next few weeks. The Interview Teams will be involved in the final interview process and will be required to attend a preparation meeting. Input will be gathered from these teams as the Board determines a profile and skill set that best fits the needs of the Jamestown community.
