School Registration

Registering your Child in Jamestown Public Schools

To register your child in Jamestown Public Schools, please visit the elementary or middle school that serves the neighborhood in which you live during regular school hours (8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.) All high school students should register at Jamestown High School. If you are not sure about which district within the city you reside, please call Pupil Personnel Services at 483-4387.

Helpful information to bring:

  • Proof of address
  • Child’s birth certificate
  • Immunization records
  • Name, address and phone number of previous district, if applicable
  • Any health, psychological, or other pertinent evaluations

If your child has an Individualized Education Plan (IEP):

After registering your child in a Jamestown Public School, it is important for you to contact Pupil Personnel Services (PPS) at 483-4387. PPS is attached to Jefferson Middle School at 197 Martin Road in the Administrative Building.

  • All evaluations
  • Health plan/medical concerns
