JHS Feburary 2017 Students of the Month

Congratulations to the JHS February Students of the Month!

9th Grade:

Karley Kennedy, a freshmen at Jamestown High School, is the daughter of Hugh and Kimberly Kennedy. Karley is a class officer and a member of the JV Volleyball team. She also participates in Key Club, plays clarinet in the Symphonic Band, and is in the mixed chorus. Karley is in the school musical and has been involved in theater as a Junior Guilder. Karley has performed dance for the past 12 years. In her spare time, she likes to write, spend time with her family and friends, and volunteer in the community. After graduation, Karley plans to attend college, but is undecided on a major.





10th Grade:

Alex Classon, a sophomore at Jamestown High School, is the son of Mike and Lynn Classon. Alex plays football for the high school and attends the offseason lifting. Alex is also taking advanced math, English, and science classes that the school offers and is an avid learner. After graduation, Alex plans to attend college to become an engineer.






11th Grade:

Olivia Gren, a junior at Jamestown High School, is the daughter of Jon and Aubin Gren. Olivia is a junior class treasurer and plays the violin in concert orchestra, oboe in concert band, and sings in the A Cappella Choir. She is also a member of the Girls Varsity Tennis and Golf teams. She is additionally involved in the JHS Musical and Key Club.






12th Grade:

Kaitlin Healy, a senior at Jamestown High School, is the daughter of Terry Smith and Michael Healy. Kaitlin is the co-president of National Honor Society and plays bassoon in the concert band. She is also a member of the Girls Tennis Team. This past fall, Kaitlin won first place in the Chautauqua Area Scholarship Program. After graduation, she plans to study biology in a pre-dental track.
