Why do you think JHS is special? JHS offers many paths to students through academic tracks, music and athletics. While it is a large school, these tracks offer a more intimate learning experience that truly allows students to thrive.

What was your favorite class and/or  teacher and why? AP Calculus was by far the most challenging class I took this year. However, it was also my favorite because of my teacher, Mr. Lumia. He was able to engage the class with difficult topics, while still captivating us with his personality.

How do you think JHS prepared you for your life after graduation? Not only has JHS prepared me within our community, but it has also introduced me to areas outside of it. Traveling with the Marching Band allowed me to discover new communities in places such as Chicago that brought me into contact  with new groups of people. Heading out into the world, it is important to understand there will be differences among people or communities. Through trips with the school and band, I was really able to see how this enriches our world.
