Why do you think JHS is special? JHS has more opportunities than many other, larger schools. We have several state champion teams, a multitude of AP classes, and faculty that cares about us.

What was your favorite class and/or  teacher and why? The caring teacher here at JHS is Mrs. Price. She has spent more time helping me than any other teacher, and none of that time has been class time. Between practicing for Poetry Out Loud or the Optimist International Club Oratorical Contest and writing scholarship essays, which she critiques with a fine-tooth comb, Mrs. Price has dedicated her life to the success of her students.

How do you think JHS prepared you for your life after graduation? JHS has given me experience dealing with people  in a real environment, unlike the bubble that surrounds a private school. The access to college credit has helped me get introductory college classes out of the way, helping save me money and getting me acclimated to college-level work.
